New home for hot chicks… or should I say chooks….

Our newly constructed mobile chicken coop for the hottest chicks and roosters in town… Made complete with recycled and reclaimed materials, set up with perches, nesting boxes and finished off with tree branch handles….ermakulturkalimantanfoundation.

With this system the chooks do the work in the garden for us. They scratch up the ground, looking for bugs and insects, they prepare and fertilise the soil and create the perfect conditions for us to create a garden bed from when we move them on to the next patch of ground. It also provides protection for them from predators (snakes, dogs, hungry neighbours ;P , etc) and also enables us to easily harvest the eggs. We’ll be introducing our new chooks and rooster according to their sponsored namesake crowd funding sponsor shortly so watch this space…. 🙂
